Fiddlers Convention
$2000 in cash and ribbons for competitions in Bluegrass and Old Time Bands, and individual categories, Bluegrass and Old Time guitar, Bluegrass and Old Time Fiddle, Bluegrass and Old Time Banjo, Bluegrass and Old Time Mandolin, Harmonica, Bass, Folk Song, Dance, Autoharp and Old Time Banjo and fiddle duet Alan Jabbour will have fiddle workshops Friday and Saturday Mornings from 10 am till 12 noon. Make up competitions start Friday at 5:00 for those that cant make Saturday. A Bluegrass and Old Time show featuring The Reed Family Band, The Giles Mountain String Band, The Zephyr Lightening Bolts, and Rambing Grass will follow. Saturday at 3:00 begins the individual competitions in any order and ending the evening with the band contests.
No pre-registration necessary
General admission is $8 Fri, and $8 Sat.
