Mountain Music Show
The Mountain Music show is an new program on WNRV AM 990. Dean Reed and Chris Via are the hosts. It airs Tuesdays from 2 til 3 pm. We will be going region by region to feature Old Time Music, of the past, and some present. This coming week will start with our own region. It will feature planty of Henry Reed,Oscar Wright,Cecil Thompson,Frank George and others.
Frank George
- Jimmy Costa and I went up to visit Frank George this week. We had a good time. We got to talk about the old timers Frank learned from in this area, and heard stories about this area as well. I learned a few new tunes while we were there. Frank really enjoyed our visit. His wife Jane was fun to be around too. We will see them again in April at the Frank George gathering on the 24th.
